Bran Castle

Also known as Dracula’s Castle. Located near Brasov, in Transylvania’s Carpathian Mountains. Bran Castle embraces the legend of Dracula while also incorporating other myths and legends into the tour.

Peles Castle

Built by the first King of Romania, it was completed in 1914 and used as a summer residence. Peles is located 1 hour from Bran Castle and is known for the beautiful wood interior designs.

Corvin Castle

Located in Hunedoara, it is one of the largest castles in Europe, dating back to the 14th century. Corvin Castle has the most authentic feel of the castles I’ve visited.

Sibiu

A midsized fortified midieval town that is well preserved. Sibiu is known for its beautiful Christmas market and the famously named Bridge of Lies.

Sighisoara

Sighisoara is an inhabited midieval citadel built in the 12th century. In 1999 it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Cluj

The second largest city in Romania, Cluj is a academic, economic, and cultural hub.
